All Things Are Possible

Remembering Noah Liff

It was only after I arrived in Nashville in 1970 as a single mother of three that my life started to turn around in dramatic ways.

Through my work as development director at WPLN, I met Noah Liff, whom I married in 1986. He was a very kind, energetic, generous, successful, interesting man who loved the arts – opera in particular.

After he was diagnosed with cancer in early 2001 he had an impossible dream that he was afraid would never come true – "to hear for one last time a beautiful opera and get lost in it and not think about anything else that is going on in our lives right now." I just told him "All things are possible."

I just told him ‘All things are possible’.

In a few short weeks we were watching a spectabcular performance of Pavarotti in Aida from the front row of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City! It's a wonderful memory for me. It was our last date.

That's just one of my "anything is possible" stories, and believe me, there's a lot more.

My hope is to inspire you to overcome the obstacles in your way to write your own "anything is possible" story.
